What Wikifur is REALLY like

Part 2 (Coming soon)

What Wikifur is REALLY like

KINDLY DIRECT YOUR ATTENTION TO http://furry.wikia.com/index.php?title=Talk:Mozdoc&oldid=204085#Closure_and_explanation

So, the story so far is that over the last few months the user known as Mozdoc has been trying to get his real name removed from an article about him. Recently, someone came up with the bright idea to vote on it.

If you've paid any attention to elections in the real world, right about now you'll be getting a bad feeling about such a suggestion.

WELL, the votes came in a trickle, and at first it appeared that more people wanted it removed than wanted it to stay..... UNTIL the last minute, when others began voting to keep it in the article, as well as 1 admin ( Spirou ) removing valid votes ( Duncan Wulfweards, Hellkat9940 ) in favor of removing it, as well as claiming to not know if another user ( Michichael ) actually wished to vote, even though they made it perfectly clear.

The voting was set to end on july 7th, 2008.... Figure AT THE LATEST midnight board time. At that time, it was 6 for removal, 5 against, and 4 sitting on the fence. LO AND BEHOLD, 7 minutes after midnight, kendricks redtail jumps in and votes against removal - AFTER the deadline - effectively deadlocking the voting.

SOMETHING STINKS HERE....

Maybe THIS is why.....

Closure and explanation There was no consensus between those debating the issue. The name will be kept, because only one of those supporting its removal is an unrelated party and a regular editor of WikiFur with a majority of their edits outside of this topic, as opposed to four of those opposing its removal. Half of those supporting removal had less than 10 edits on WikiFur. Of those who had more, none had more than 200 edits, and only one was not mainly or solely involved with this situation. Conversely, three of those opposing removal are WikiFur administrators with two-year track records and thousands of unrelated edits, and one other editor also appears otherwise uninvolved with this conflict. A comparison of edit counts gives a ratio of 40 to 1 for those opposing removal, without considering the relation of the edits to this article. I do not wish to devalue the views of those new to the site - their contribution to the debate is welcome and appreciated - but it is clear that they do not represent regular editors of this site, nor have they succeeded in swaying the opinion of these editors. --GreenReaper(talk) 04:50, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

So in other words, the only voters who really matter are his own admins and his "buddies".

Kind of sounds like the 2000 presidential election, where certain people were excluded from voting.

For all intents and purposes, the actions point toward the whole thing being RIGGED!

SO, now you know why we're currently at DEFCON 1 and all out war looms on the horizon.

Above all, you should not trust any of people listed below:

Dmuth, Spirou, Spaz Kitty, Findra, DuncanDaHusky, Ayukawataur, Cubist, KendricksRedtail, GreenReaper, Siege, Spirou and Sine

Now watch, he'll try and make this disappear. ;)—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.8.39.7 (talkcontribs) AnthroSamurai.

UPDATE

And here is yet another example - Cubist trying to reinforce Spirou's removal of votes

sez mozdoc: "I WAS AHEAD BY ONE VOTE AT THE MORNING OF JULY SEVENTH."

Really? There were seven votes "in your corner" (as it were)? Who is it that cast this elusive seventh vote, please? Cubist 08:14, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Actually, there are TWO "elusive votes" - Duncan Wulfweards and Michichael - BOTH of whom clearly voted, yet had there votes removed by none other than SPIROU, who then claimed they had not voted.

Spirou shows his true colors as well

It seems SPIROU decided to lock this page..... Then unlocked it right away.

TOO LATE SPEW, It's already logged - I couldn't have asked for better proof of your cyber-nazi tendancies. ;)

75.8.39.7 08:11, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Naw, I unlocked it as I realize that: A) your own postings and comments are already generating its own consequences, and B) people may want to have a opinion to express on this page. So have fun, just mind your manners and civility towards other users.
As for your main, AnthroSamurai, it is still under a temp block by another Sysop for "Intimidating behaviour/harassment" for 48 more hours, and I'm not going to override his decision. Just rejoin the conversation/discussions as an adult after the block is lifted, and you can leave this mess behind Spirou 08:30, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

If being considered an adult means that I have to go along with your treachery, scheming, deceptions, and outright lies.....

Then you can keep your so-called "adulthood", since I REFUSE to live so dishonestly.

You may control this board, but you don't control the streets ;) If you snots REALLY want war, then you had better be prepared to be both outnumbered AND outfought - "wusbags like you never last long on the dark side of town."

(and yes fool, that is what is called a "SAYING" - since your kind simply love to twist things around and falsely accuse people)

WHOA, WHAT is THIS???

As for your main, AnthroSamurai, it is still under a temp block by another Sysop for "Intimidating behaviour/harassment" for 48 more hours, and I'm not going to override his decision.

SO let me get this straight, are you saying that IF I had 'gone along' with the rest of you in your plot to further fuck with Mozdoc, and had ignored what you punks were pulling, you would have considered shortening my ban?

Spirou Spirou Spirou, WHEN are you going to learn...... My kind cannot be bribed ;)

75.8.39.7 14:59, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Or maybe it's because you're hardly following the standard rules of civility and netiquette while in discussion. You are free to debate your points of view on the matter, provided you remain calm and avoid slanderous comments against those who disagree with you. Try reading over your messages in this page, many of the things you have said against other uses and administration here are very insulting, it is this kind of behaviour that got you blocked in the first place.
I know how you feel, I have been in a similar position on other websites where I have gone overboard and insulted other people because they disagree with me; however this behaviour is not going to further your case whatsoever. -- Tori Belliachitc 15:06, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Tori, I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt here - even though you suddenly decided to just "pop in and add your two cents" (by the way, where were you BEFORE, huh?)

Have you read Mozdoc's talk page? Did you not see not only Spirou's selectively removing votes but GreenReaper himself making it known that this was never to be a fair vote?

If they are not going to conduct things here fairly and honestly, then why do they deserve to be treated with respect?

With what has gone on, do you not think there is at least some possibility that THAT is the reason Mozdoc is so hostile?

You do not have to be a rocket scientist to to see that their own words tend to show that they were only out to further mess with the guy, trying to set him off yet again so they could make all sorts of claims about him. Put yourself in that situation - after dealign with enough of it, wouldn't YOU say "screw it" and begin hitting back against those who were messing with you?

Escalation over on Wikipedia

If should also be noted that this user has been trying to stir things up on Wikipedia by leaving messages on the talk pages of people who have vandalized GreenReaper's page there in the past.

It suggests to me that Anthrosamurai/aysakiansamurai is more interested in causing trouble than contributing to this community. --Douglas Muth 15:25, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Going to start crying again, Dougie?

If you and your clique had just conducted things honestly and fairly, there would have been no problems. HOWEVER, since you people resorted to rigging the vote, AND since you control this place, other means of counter-strike must be used.
